Mike's Priorities

Nothing matters more than protecting our families. As a Sheriff, Mike put criminals behind bars, stood up for victims, and worked tirelessly to keep communities safe. In the State House, he will:
 

• Back the blue and ensure law enforcement has the resources they need.

• Crack down on violent crime, drug trafficking, and child predators.

• Oppose soft-on-crime policies that put our families at risk.

Raised on a cattle ranch and still running livestock today, Mike knows agriculture is the backbone of Oklahoma. He will:
 

• Fight burdensome regulations that harm farmers and ranchers.

• Protect private property rights.

• Ensure rural Oklahoma gets its fair share of resources and infrastructure.

Mike’s family is built on military service, and he believes veterans deserve more than words; they deserve action. He will:
 

• Fully fund veterans’ services and healthcare access.

• Expand workforce and education opportunities for veterans.

• Ensure no veteran is left behind.

Strong schools mean strong communities. Mike’s work with the United Community Action Program shows his commitment to education and caring for future generations. He will:
 

• Defend parental rights in education.

• Keep politics out of the classroom.

• Support safe schools and strong local control.

Mike believes we must take care of those who spent their lives building our communities. As a board member with the United Community Action Program, he has worked directly to support elder care across five counties. In the legislature, he will:
 

• Crack down on elder abuse and neglect.

• Support nursing homes and community-based elder care programs.

• Ensure seniors have access to quality healthcare and safe living conditions.
